ABBOTTABAD–Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) at Kakul on Tuesday, where he oversaw and addressed cadets in training, according to an ISPR release.
Speaking to the cadets, the army chief reciprocated his determination to root out terrorism.
He said with the nation’s backing, the military will ensure there is peace and security in the country.
General Raheel also praised PMA Kakul as an institution, calling it Pakistan’s premier military academy and an important asset where the army’s future leadership is trained and developed.
He encouraged and motivated the to-be officers, telling them to never shy away from facing challenges.
