ISLAMABAD–Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was given a briefing on Pakistan’s Nuclear Power Program by Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission at the PM House, a statement issued here on Tuesday said.
The Prime Minister said provision of funds for these projects would be arranged in line with the NPP Vision 2050. He said the government is taking all possible measures for meeting energy shortage in the country including nuclear energy.
Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif; Minister for Finance, Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar; Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Rashad Mahmood and DG Strategic Plans Division (SPD) were present during the meeting.
