The first bench comprising Chief Justice, Nasir-Ul-Mulk, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Mushir Alam on Tuesday would hear Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) and 41 other petitioners’ petitions regarding constitutional petitions against establishment of Militay Courts in Pakistan through 21st Amendment in the constitution, application for exemption of filing certified copy of the order June, 6, 2010 dismissing the applicant’s impleadment application for non-prosecution, applications against 18th constitutional amendment.
During the week, the bench would also hear other important cases including National Accountability Bureau ((NAB) cases, Balochistan High Court Bar Association petition for giving fresh directions to ECP as to holding of Local Government Elections in the provinces of Sindh and Punjab, petitions regarding holding of local bodies elections in Islamabad and Cantonment Boards and suo-moto notice case regarding incident of Kot Radha Kishan where a mob burnt alive Christian couple in brick kiln.
The two-member second bench consist of Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja and Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany while third bench consisting Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed.
Fourth bench comprised of Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan and Justice Umar Ata Bandial while the fifth bench comprise of Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rahman and Justice Qazi Faez Isa. The two-member sixth bench comprised of Jsutice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry and Justice Dost Muhammad Khan.
According to case lists, no adjournment on any ground will be granted and no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the Court.
If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason, the dvocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case.
