ISLAMABAD-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday directed to speed up the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP).
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of Balochistan Apex Committee in Quetta to review implementation of the National Action Plan in the province.
Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik, Federal Ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, he said practical results of implementation should be witnessed clearly. He said difficult decisions have to be made. He added that the Government has the responsibility to enforce and implement the plan.
He said the National Action Plan was formulated with consensus of the political and military leadership. He said all those concerned are playing their role and we have to complement each other’s efforts.
He said as an implementation process, 21st Constitutional Amendment was passed and Army Act amended within few days.
Nawaz Sharif said there should be effective implementation on the National Action Plan to counter terrorism.
