Maidan Euro that has been a controversial move allegedly propelled by United States and European Union to get rid of Moscow-backed former President Victor Yanukovych.
A recent BBC documentary claims that shooting of people was started by Maidan Euro participants –not by Berkut (riot police). Who gave long range weapons to protestors to shoot at police is yet to be known—- a mystery. A leak telephonic conversation of EU leaders in year 2014 indicated that EU leaders knew that “someone else” was firing shots in maidan Euro and it was not riot police who started firing at protesters that resulted in the death of 50 people. Even dead bodies of dead people had wounds of long range guns—sniper guns that were not used by the riot police .
There are many similarities among Ukraine war and wars in Middle East — The first similarity is that people of country are divided into two or more groups and country is divided into three parts practically like in Libya, Syria and Iraq. In Middle East this divide is sectarian and religious. Since Ukraine is not a religious country and there are no Shias and Sunnis Muslims therefore divide is ethnic in Ukraine— Western Ukraine is practically parted away from Eastern Ukraine— Russian speaking Ukrainians are divided from Ukrainian speaking population. The most popular slogan of Maidan Euro was — We are not East. So really Kiev is no more East—East has gone far away from Kiev.
Bone of contention among pro-Russians and US-backed politicians was the issue of joining of Custom Union of Russia. US-backed the then opposition wanted to join European Union instead of Custom Union.
Now Ukraine is neither a member of European Union nor of Custom Union. It looks that Ukraine has to wait more 3 years to join European Union while it cannot join NATO if it has boundary dispute with a neighbor as per NATO rules.
Fragile ceasefire had first jolt before even ceasefire time was started—that was twitter message of US Ambassador in Kiev claiming that US has photos of Russian heavy weapons presence in rebel held areas. This was jolt not only to peace process rather it ignited anti-Russian feelings among western Ukrainians.
There are many conspiracy theorires are in the corridors of verkhonva Rada. Some politicians believe that Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk will be replaced soon by European powers with former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko who is known as US-Baby.
These theories are based on possibility that Poroshenko will face strong criticism in Verkhovna Rada Verkhonva (Ukrainian Parliament) soon over failed peace talks (there are much chances of failure of ceasefire) and in result move of no confidence will come in the Parliament against sitting prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk in year 2015 and former Prime Minister Yulia can be installed as new prime minister.
There are many possibilities and Ukraine is a land where big powers can test different diplomatic possibilities and show of power possibilities.
Former President is sitting in Victor Yanukovych who fled to Russia during the night of 21 February 2014 and enjoying his life while former Prime minister is enjoying his family life in Europe after both ran away from Kiev. Yulia is out of jail and enjoying her life in comfortable way. But millions of Ukrainian men, women and children have nothing to eat and nothing to keep their bodies warm in camps and hiding places in serve Ukrainian weather.
