KARACHI–Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) MNA Nabil Gabol said on Tuesday that he had differences with the party which had now been resolved.
Earlier it was reported that the Rabittaa Committee had not accepted Gabol’s resignation. According to sources, Gabol had reservations with the MQM over being marked absent at party meetings without being called to them.
Nabil Gabol left the Pakistan Peoples Party to join the MQM on March 13, 2013. Upon joining the MQM he said the PPP was no longer the party of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, therefore, he decided to end his 25-year-long affiliation with it.
In 2013 general elections, Gabol was elected as an MNA from NA-246 (Karachi) on the MQM’s ticket.
