To a question by The Daily Mail over Beijing stance over the issue of Cyber Terrorism, an official of the government of China said that China holds a consistent and clear position on maintaining cyber security. “China is against all forms of cyber-attacks and cyber terrorism, including cyber-attacks launched by any country or individual by using facilities beyond its own national borders against a third country. China is poised to carry out constructive cooperation with the international community in safeguarding peace and security of the cyber space on the basis of mutual respect and mutual trust,” he said.
While The Daily Mail has become the latest victim of global cyber terror, emerging out of India, China has also suffered a haul of cyber-attacks on its official and private websites in the past. The Chinese government has very seriously and very effectively been making efforts to root out this menace from every part of the world while it pays s special attention to the websites carrying healthy contents only and it highly discourages pornography and other unhealthy on websites. The Daily Mail has always been highlighting this aspect of Beijing while a special coverage in this direction is given in its sister publications too.
