PESHAWAR–Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamaat-e-Islami have agreed to jointly contest next local government elections. This was decided in a meeting between leaders of the two parties in Peshawar on Monday.
The meeting besides others was also attended by speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaisar of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Professor Ibrahim.
Seat to seat adjustment for the election will be made later on.
