RAWALPINDI-Rawalpindi Arts Council in collaboration with True Theatre arranged a family stage play “Zindgi Karae ka ghar hai” based on social issues which was written by Azhar Feroz and directed by Ayaz Khan. The story revolves round a family of Asad and his wife Raeesa who does not care for his children and home. Asad is kabotarbaz by profession and does nothing except flying pigeons. He loves only with their pigeons.
He neither thought about the education of his children nor domestic affairs. His wife Raeesa runs sewing machine to meet expenditures. A turn comes to his life where he thinks about wrong doings and repents.
The main cast of the drama was Ehsan Qureshi, Reha Yousaf, Imran Rushdi, Neeha, Azhar Feroz,Shama Niazi, Sapna Shah, while child starts were Usama, Muzamil, Hassaan, Haseeb, Asim and Amina.
Addressing at the end of drama, Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed said that aim to conduct the drama was to provide neat and clean, healthy entertainment to the people of twin cities where as social issues were also highlighted.
A large number of families watched the drama and applauded RAC efforts for revival of family stage drama.
