ISLAMABAD–Maroof Afzal, Chairman accompanied by Amir Ali Ahmed, Member Administration, , Capital Development Authority visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and offered condolence for the sad demise of Munawar Mughal (Late), Vice President FPCCI and former President ICCI who died on 20th December 2014 due to cardiac arrest.
He said Munawar Mughal (Late) was a great business leader and his services for the local business community would be remembered in golden worlds for long time.
He said that CDA was working on upgrading its byelaws to facilitate the business and industrial activities.
He said CDA’s laws made in 1960s were in need of review to cater to the current day needs of business and industry and assured that byelaws would be upgraded by taking ICCI on board in order to meet the long standing demands of trade and industry.
He said businessmen were making useful contribution towards the economy and reiterated that CDA in collaboration with ICCI would do its utmost to address their issues for facilitating better growth of business activities.
He greatly appreciated the services of Munawar Mughal (Late) for the business community and said his untimely death was a great loss for all of us.
Speaking at the occasion, Abdul Rauf, Chairman ICCI Founder Group threw light on the great role of Munawar Mughal (Late).
He also Munawar Mughal (Late) had dedicated his life for the service of business community and was a binding force between the Chamber and the trade unions. He said great loss of Munawar Mughal (Late) would be felt for years to come.
