KARACHI – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Wednesday said it is up to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to decide whether to contact Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to invite them for protest or not adding that he would not go the MQM headquarters.
Talking to the media at the airport in Karachi he said if government acts wise, incident like Faisalabad would not be repeated adding that if people like Rana Sanaullah and Abid Sher Ali were not there we would have gone, delivered speeches and come back.
Government didn’t even spare the blind, he added.
He further warned if Sharif brothers should act sagaciously so that December 15 in Lahore doesn’t turn into a black day.
“I enjoy good relations with Altaf Hussain, Babar Ghauri and Khalid Maqbool from the beginning and MQM must welcome PTI’s call for protest lockdown as it’s in opposition.” suggests Sheikh Rasheed.
He said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will be wiped off from Punjab if it doesn’t come forward.
He further asserted that government is waiting for Lahore lockdown before initiating negotiations.
