Jam Tamachi becomes Sindh PAC Chairman

KARACHI—The Provincial Minister for Law and non-official member of Public Accounts Committee, Mohammed Ayaz Soomro, nominated MPA Jam Tamachi as PAC’s uncontested Chairman. Speaking on the occasion Mr Soomro said the Committee has with it 17 year old cases which speaks of the inefficiency of past governments and PAC has to resolve them with hard work. He said that with the constitution of this Committee Sindh Government will be released an additioanl fund of Rs 2 billion. The newly elected PAC Chairman Jam Tamachi thanked President Asif Ali Zardari, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Law Minister Ayaz Soomro for assigning such an important responsibility to him and said he would work with sincerity and honesty for the betterment of Sindh and welfare of its people.
