Pakistan, Azerbaijan relations strengthen by literary links

ISLAMABAD—The friendly relationships between Pakistan and Azerbaijan can be strengthen by multidimensional and stable literary links.
Exchange of delegations of writers of both countries would behelpful in developing better understanding of the literature of both countries, says a press release here Saturday.
This was said by Fakhar Zaman, Chairman Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL), during a meeting with Dr. Eynulla Madatli, Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Pakistan.
Both dignitaries also discussed in detail different strategiesand initiatives for the promotion of literature in both countries.
They also talked about the possibility of enhancing translations ofliterary writings for both countries.
Dr. Eynulla Madatli, Ambassador of Azerbaijan, thanked thechairman PAL, Fakhar Zaman for giving him a chance to visit Pakistan Academy of Letters and get introduce with its functioning and different projects.
He also emphasized that the concern department in bothcountries should take initiative to strengthened literary ties between two countries.
In the end of the meeting Fakhar Zaman, Chairman PAL, presented Russian translations of "Mystic Poets of Pakistan" and "Pakistani Literature" to Dr. Eynulla Madatli.
