Sarkozy grieved over quake losses

ISLAMABAD—French President Nicolas Sarkozy has expressed sympathies with President Asif Zardari on the loss of lives in the tragic earthquake that hit Ziarat and other areas in Balochistan. According to French embassy, the French President in a message to President Asif Ali Zardari said, “I was deeply moved by the news of the tragic earthquake that occurred today in the Ziarat area in Balochistan.” The French President said,”In the name of France and in my personal name, please accept my condolences. I would be grateful if you could convey them to the families of the victims.” He said in these difficult times, he wants to assure France’s sympathy and solidarity towards the Pakistani people.
