Earthquake jolts northern parts

ISLAMABAD—An earthquake of mild intensity measuring 5.6 magnitude on International Richter Scale jolted upper areas of the country on Sunday. According to earthquake measurement centre Peshawar the tremors were felt at 7:29 am. The epicenter was 290 kilometer away north of Peshawar in the Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush mountain range. The tremors were felt in Chitral, Dir, Peshawar, Attock, Islamabad and other areas of the country.
