Poetry legend Faraz passes away

ISLAMABAD—Renowned poet and literary figure of Pakistan Ahmed Faraz has passes away here on Monday. He was under treatment at a hospital in Islamabad, according to various private TV channels.
Dr Iftikhar Nasim, one of the Pakistan-American specialists treating the renowned poet at a Chicago hospital. He said the decision to allow him to return to Pakistan was made at the request of members of his family who believe that his recovery might pick up in his home environment.
But he made it clear that the condition of 76-year-old Faraz, who has been under intensive treatment for multiple health problems at a Chicago hospital, remains critical but stable.
