Ministry invites applications to fill vacant posts at foreign universities

ISLAMABAD—The Ministry of Education has invited applications to fill vacant posts in six reputed foreign universities against different vacant chairs.
The Ministry of Education through its Training Wing will select most appropriate candidates to be posted at these highly scholarly posts. Selection will be made for Quaid-i-Azam Chair at Colombia University USA, Quaid-i-Azam Fellowship Oxford University UK, Allama Iqbal Fellowship Cambridge University, Chair in Urdu and Pak. Studies Tehran University, Quaid-i-Azam Chair in Urdu at Baptist University Hong Kong and Allama Iqbal Fellowship at Heidelberg University Germany.
Pakistan citizens with Ph.D degrees in the subjects of Pakistan Studies International Relations, Political Science or History with at least 5 years teaching or research experience at some recognized university may apply for the posts.
The candidates must have at least eight research publications in journal of international repute. For appointment at Chair in Urdu and Pak. Studies, Tehran University Iran the knowledge of Persian language is a pre-requisite.
