Govt to wrap up operation in Hangu

PESHAWAR—NWFP Home Secretary, Tipu Mohabat Khan Saturday said that army was called in Hangu district on request of local administration for maintaining writ of the government and the operation will end in a couple of days. Lawyers set deadline over deposed judges

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Bar Council has announced August 14 as deadline for the government to reinstate the deposed judges. In a declaration of All Pakistan Lawyers Convention held here on Saturday, it was demanded of the government to restore the deposed judges by the above deadline or else a campaign would be launched considering the coalition government as supporters of PCO judges.
