16 killed as loaded troller turns turtle

PIBI—Atleast sixteen people were killed and eighteen others seriously injured when a troller coming from Peshawar to Rawalpindi turned turtle near Pibi on Friday morning.
According to details, a loaded truck coming from Peshawar to Rawalpindi turned turtle near a bazaar in Pibi while trying to save a woman resulting in the death of 16 people while police has confirmed death of eight people and injuries to 16 others in the gruesome accident occurred on Friday morning. The persons who died included Tahir Shah, Fawad, Miraj, Hameed Ullah, Asif, Nimra, Amanullah, Fazal Amin, Ismail Khel and others. The injured have been shifted to Pibi Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar respectively where some of them are in precarious condition.
On the other hand, Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has held driver of the troller responsible for the ghastly accident. He further said that Government will take care of the injured terming the accident as shocking and blamed the driver for the negligence during driving. He said that driver fled from the spot after watching dead bodies lying on the road. He inquired the health of the injured while prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in perpetual peace and give valor to the family members to bear the irremediable losses.
