Amrohi
ISLAMABAD—Advisor to ministry for parliamentary affairs Izhar Amrohi has
said all members of parliament have been kept stand by adding national
assembly can be summoned at any time to adopt resolution on
reinstatement of judges.
Talking to exclusively with Online here on Friday, Izhar Amrohi told
political leadership was endeavouring to remove irritants on the way to
preparation of constitutional resolution. He said that all the matters
will be settled amicably and differences will be removed, adding that
the other political parties will have no objection whatever consensus
decision is taken. NA session can be summoned on May, 12, he hinted. But
all the matters are with two major parties of PML-N and PPP, he added.
Ministry for parliamentary affairs have made all the preparations about
summoning NA session. If political leadership gives us nod we will send
the summary to the prime minister today, he indicated. Responding to a
question he said all the members of national assembly have been kept
stand by and they have been directed to remain ready to reach Islamabad
on short notice. It is mandatory for the president to address parliament
as per constitution, he maintained. Advisor to ministry for
parliamentary affairs said that we will not invite the president to
address parliament, adding that President will have to take this
decision on his own. —Online |
