All MPs stand by for parliament session: Amrohi

ISLAMABAD—Advisor to ministry for parliamentary affairs Izhar Amrohi has said all members of parliament have been kept stand by adding national assembly can be summoned at any time to adopt resolution on reinstatement of judges.
Talking to exclusively with Online here on Friday, Izhar Amrohi told political leadership was endeavouring to remove irritants on the way to preparation of constitutional resolution. He said that all the matters will be settled amicably and differences will be removed, adding that the other political parties will have no objection whatever consensus decision is taken. NA session can be summoned on May, 12, he hinted. But all the matters are with two major parties of PML-N and PPP, he added. Ministry for parliamentary affairs have made all the preparations about summoning NA session. If political leadership gives us nod we will send the summary to the prime minister today, he indicated. Responding to a question he said all the members of national assembly have been kept stand by and they have been directed to remain ready to reach Islamabad on short notice. It is mandatory for the president to address parliament as per constitution, he maintained. Advisor to ministry for parliamentary affairs said that we will not invite the president to address parliament, adding that President will have to take this decision on his own. —Online
