Accused gets death sentence

FAISALABAD—Additional session judge Saeed Ullah Mughal has awarded death sentence on two counts to accused Attique involved in a double murder case of Sadar police station area. According to the prosecution, Muhammad Attique of Chak No.215-RB Fatehpur had stabbed to death his sister Safia Bibi and her husband Muhammad Sharif on love marriage issue. Deciding the case, the court awarded death sentence to Attique on 2 counts. He was also directed to pay Rs.1 lakh as compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased.
