77 Afghans expelled

QUETTA—Pakistan authorities on Monday released 77 Afghan national prisoners from district jail Khuzdar and handed over them to Afghan border authorities at Pak-Afghan Chaman border, police sources at the border told newsmen. Law enforcement agencies had arrested these people from various parts of Balochistan for having entered into Pakistan without any legal documents. They were tried and sentenced under Foreign Act by the courts and were handed over to Afghan authorities after completion of their sentences and payment of fines in Khuzdar jail.—Agencies
