Zari Sarfaraz laid to rest

PESHAWAR—Prominent social worker Begum Zari Sarfaraz was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard in Mardan on Monday. She died on Sunday in Islamabad after a brief illness.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held in Mardan on Monday which was attended among others by Federal Minister for Special Education and Social Welfare Khwaja Muhammad Khan Hoti, Former Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs and Ex-Speaker National Assembly Gohar Ayub, Senior NWFP Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Former NWFP Governor Khurshid Ali Khan, former Federal Minister Nisar Muhammad Khan, former NWFP Ministers Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan and Habib Ullah Kundi, Political leaders, social workers, elite, journalists and doctors. She was laid to rest in her native graveyard by the side of her father Sarfaraz Khan, and younger brother and former NWFP Chief Minister Mir Afzal Khan.
NWFP Minister for Agriculture, Arbab Mohammad Ayub Jan has expressed his sorrow over the sad demise of the former Federal Minister and well known social worker Begum Zari Sarfaraz.
In a condolence message, in the name of bereaved family, the Provincial Minister prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience and fortitude.
