Malakand division to get gas soon

PESHAWAR—The residents of Malakand division would get Sui gas facility within a week’s time for which additional staff would be deputed to expedite work on the pending cases for provision of gas facility. This was disclosed by the General Manager Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGPL) while briefing the NWFP Minister for Irrigation and Power Engineer Hamayun Khan here this morning. Former GM Sui Gas Ghaffar Khan, Deputy Chief Engineer Momin Khan and Senior Distribution Engineer Khalid Pervez were also present on this occasion. He said that the villages to be provided with gas facilities included Batkhela, Khar, Maizara, Dheri Jolagram and other areas in Malakand Agency. The Provincial Minister was told that all the pending new gas connections cases would be disposed off very soon and directives had been issued to the quarters concerned in this regard.—Agencies
