Nation to get good news on outcome of MQM-PPP talks: Farooq

KARACHI—MQM deputy convener Dr Farooq Sattar has said the last three sessions of dialogue between MQM and PPP have remained disappointing but the latest two sessions have remained productive adding these talks will soon yield their results and the nation will get good news soon.
He said this while talking to the journalists here Sunday after speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuru had condoled with him on the death of his father.
May it be in government or in opposition, MQM wants to continue national reconciliation process in the province, he held. Rural and urban divide should be bridged under reconciliation process and peace should prevail in the province for the uplift of people of the province, he added.
Replying to a question he said MQM had conveyed its concerns to the PPP central leadership on withdrawal of powers by Sindh government from city Nazim Karachi hoping PPP leadership will resolve this issue under national reconciliation process.
Talks are underway with PPP in terms of national reconciliation and its outcome will come out soon, he told.—Online
