Organic farming would be utilized in future: Kosar

ISLAMABAD—Member planning commission Dr. Kosar Abdullah has said that in
future to meet the challenge of growing food needs organic farming would
be promoted to yield more productivity in the minimum area and also
ensure better storage facility.
Dr. Kosar said this in the concluding ceremony of organic productivity
and inspection's workshop held here on Friday in the supervision of
Pakistan agricultural research council (PARC). The participants of the
workshop were introduced with modern technology and techniques related
to organic farming that was attended by the agricultural experts of
Pakistan, India, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Thailand.
Addressing the concluding ceremony Dr. Kosar Abdullah Malik thanked the
national productivity organization and Asian productivity organization
Japan for their healthy cooperation with PARC to held the workshop.
In the concluding ceremony Dr. Kosar Abdullah also awarded certificates
and souvenirs to the participants and administration of the workshop.
Other participants considering the workshop informative and productive
said, "Such seminars and workshops will promote the organic farming in
future and help to address the challenges of food shortage in the
world." |
