2 labourers burnt to death

KASUR—Two labourers were burnt to death while two others received burn injuries when fire broke out in a fireworks factory at Peruwala road here on Thursday. According to police, labourers were busy in preparing fireworks in the factory situated at Peruwala road when the fireworks material caught fire which soon engulfed the entire factory as a result Shaukat Ali Shah and another unidentified labourer died on the spot while two others namely Bagu and Nadeem received burn injuries. They were rushed to DHQ hospital for medical aid. Police and fire brigade tenders rushed to the scene and controlled the fire after hectic efforts. Sadar police Kasur have registered a case against factory owner.
