Pak, Afghan troops trade fire

ISLAMABAD—Frontier Corps troops and Afghan National Army exchange of fire on Wednesday was due to misunderstanding, said ISPR. According to details, some miscreants attacked check post at Daud Qilla on Afghan Side of the border in the wee hours of the morning. The exchange of fire continued for some time, resultantly killing 8-10 miscreants while disengaging the rest.
Own out post at Nawa pass on Afghan Border also came under fire. The frontier corps troops retaliated with fire. Due to misunderstanding some exchange of fire took place between Afghan National Army troops and Frontier Corps troops on the border. One Frontier Corps Havildar embraced shahadat and one Naik received bullet injuries in exchange of fire. At 1100 hours Afghan National Army troops also approached own post at Nawa Pass in search of miscreants.
