Washing of vegetable, fruits banned in Nullahs

ISLAMABAD—Keeping in view the health of citizens, Islamabad Capital Territory Administration has banned washing of fruits and vegetables under section 144 in Korang and other dirty Nullahs.
The ban comes into effect immediately and would remain into force for two months. The violators would have to face stern action, according to handout issued here the other day.
It has come into the notice that some people were washing vegetables and fruits in Korang Nullah, causing outburst of several diseases.
