53 murderes in Rawalpindi during last 3 months

RAWALPINDI—Street crimes, notably robberies and vehicle theft, in Rawalpindi, the sister city of capital Islamabad, has increased sharply during the first three months of this year.
Murder, rioting, rape, kidnapping, suicide, dacoity, robbery and theft all are going up and up. According to details gathered from various Police Stations, 263 vehicles and 47 motorbikes were stolen from different areas of Rawalpindi during first three months of Rawalpindi.
Roundabout 53 people were murdered during the same period. Several cases residents were deprived of their valuables, including cash and gold worth millions of rupees. 53 cases of robbery and 13 incidents of mobile and purse were also reported in the same period.
In order to stop increasing incidents of street crimes, Police have started monitoring the area by dividing city into different zones.
