18 Indian fishermen arrested

Vadodara—The Pakistani Marine Security Agency (PMSA) has arrested 18 Indian fishermen from Arabian Sea area in Jakhau, Manish Lodhari, Secretary of National Fish Forum said on Tuesday.
The fishermen with their three boats were arrested from Jakhau in Kutch district bordering Pakistan on Monday, he said. Lodhari said he had received a message regarding arrest of 18 Indian fishermen from his counterpart in Pakistan.
“Within one week, the PMSA has arrested 36 Indian fishermen and seized six boats. All these 36 Indian fishermen belonged to Porbandar area, he said.—Agencies
