No package needed to reinstate judges: Qazi

LAHORE—Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Qazi Hussain Ahmad has warned country’s nuclear program, mosques, seminaries and culture all are at the hit list of America adding Pakistan will have to suffer irreparable loss if US way is not blocked.
He said this here Sunday in JI headquarters at Mansoora. He regretted Pakistan was the only country in the world whose citizens were sold out to US in return for dollars.
Seeking more time by the government for restoration of deposed judges was beyond comprehension, he said We should adopt such policies that served the national interests, he stressed. Withdrawal of troops from South Waziristan is a good omen, he underlined.
About missing persons he said they were away from their near and dear ones for the last five years. No information is available about their being alive or otherwise, he added. Upon whom US laid hand was lifted and handed over to it, he alleged.
Judges can be restored within one hour through an executive order but the delay in this respect is incomprehensible, he underscored.
Qazi said that growing inflation and unemployment have forced the masses to commit suicides adding this is outcome of ill conceived policies of the erstwhile government.
