Babar announces to make film against Western propaganda

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader senator Babar Awan Sunday announced to make a film to counter the western filmmakers’ and publishing media’s biased propaganda against Islam and its followers.
Addressing a media briefing here, Babar Awan said that the muslim scholars and intellectuals should now resist the blasphemous propaganda against Islam and Qura’an.
He said that now the muslim should respond the western propaganda in equal terms. “ I have decided to take the first initiative by myself.”
Babar Awan said that his film will be based on true teachings of Islam and holy Qura’an and reflect the sentiments of all muslims.
The film would be made in Urdu, English and Arabic languages. Prominent voices of these three languages would be hired for dubbing the dialogues. The project will be completed within 100 days and released on first of Ramazan, Dr Babar said adding he would himself bear whole the cost of film.
Dr Awan said that no individual act should be interpreted to propagate against any faith. Quran teaches to respect all other faiths,rather Islamic faith is incomplete without believing in prophets and their books.
