PM sets new traditions in NA: Sherry

ISLAMABAD—Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ms. Sherry Rehman Friday said Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has created a history by answering questions during Ministers Question Hour in the National Assembly. “No Prime Minister in the world answers questions relating to his cabinet ministers and Mr. Gilani has set a new tradition by doing so,” she said this while responding to a point of order by Opposition member Dr. Donia Aziz.
The Minister recalled during his inaugural speech, the Prime Minister had announced that Prime Minister’s Question Hour would be initiated in the National Assembly and from the next session the practice would be started as there is a requirement for giving due notice for the purpose.
