2 criminals rings smashed

SANGLA HILL—Circle police Sangla Hill,in a special drive against criminals, smashed two gangs of dacoits and recovered stolen property worth Rs 1.7 million,as well as illegal weapons and narcotics from their possession. DSP circle police Rai Muhammad Hussain said while addressing a press conference here Friday. He said police arrested 35 proclaimed offenders, 34 court absconders during the drive. Police also seized 26 carbines, 22 pistols,9 revolvers,14 guns,13 rifles,2 kg chars, 50 litres of liquor.As many as 72 cases of illegal weapons and 20 of narcotics were also registered during the drive.
