PCO attack on judiciary, says Bhagwandas

LAHORE—Justice retired Rana Bhagwandas on Thursday underlined that present Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO) is absolutely illegal and unconstitutional. Justice retired Rana Bhagwandas expressed these views while addressing Lahore High Court Bar on Thursday.
He was of the view that there is hell of a difference between present PCO and previous PCO urging that the present PCO is a sheer attack on Judiciary. He said that Lawyers Fraternity is not a mere name of people dressed in Black Coats however it is an institution and Organisation, which has utmost importance in our society.
He said that Lawyers would continue to struggle for Supremacy of Judiciary, as it is one of the most important pillar of our country. He further said that lawyers and Judiciary share a very common relation. He said that the Lawyers know our boundaries very well adding that no war can be won only by weapons but it is a mind game.
We don’t believe in false slogans but what we say we do it, Rana Bhagwandas held. Rana Bhagwandas added that Lawyers Movement is going in a right direction stressing we are only a few steps away from achieving our desired goals and objectives.
