Judges resolution sent to Law Ministry

ISLAMABAD—Leading lawyer Fakhar ud Din Ibrahim Jee has worked out draft resolution on reinstatement of deposed judges to be moved to national assembly and sent the same to ministry of law. PML-N had requested noted lawyer Fakhar ud Din Ibrahim Jee to prepare the draft resolution to be presented in national assembly regarding restoration of deposed judges
It is laid down in the draft resolution government should declare November, 3 steps unconstitutional, take measures for restoration of judiciary besides withdrawing the powers and steps taken by an individual.
People had given the mandate to the government in February 18 general elections to ensure supremacy of law and independence of judiciary, draft further said.
Judges cannot be left at the mercy of an individual and the steps for removal of judges can only be taken under article 209 of the constitution, resolution added.
