FBR quarterly conferences to start from 24th

ISLAMABAD—The Quarterly Conferences of field officers of Federal Board of Revenue will start here from April 24, (Thursday). Secretary General, Revenue Division and Chairman, Federal Board of Revenue, M. Abdullah Yusuf will preside over all the three Quarterly Conferences.
FBR sources told APP that during the conferences, performance of the collectorates/commissionerates in the third quarte (January-March) of current financial year will be reviewed and strategy will be evolved to achieve the revenue targets set for the last/fourth quarter (April-June). Follow-up actions taken on the decisions made in the conferences held in January last will also be reviewed.
Conference of Collectors of Customs & Collectors (Appeals) will be held on April 24 (Thursday), Conference of Collectors of Sales Tax and Collectors (Appeals) on April 25 (Friday) and Quarterly Conference of the Director Generals Commissioners of Income Tax & Commissioners (Appeals) will take place on April 26, (Saturday).
