Dog Centre established for ensuring maximum security

ISLAMABAD—The newly established Dog Centre at Rescue-15, was formally inaugurated by IGP Shahid Nadeem Baloch, here on Tuesday. It is pertinent to mention here that the project has been launched with mutual co-operation of Rescue 15 and K-9 Company.
The said project that was conceived by SSP Islamabad; Syed Kaleem Imam; was inaugurated in a simple yet impressive ceremony that was widely attended by SSP Islamabad; Syed Kaleem Imam, SP West; Dr.Moeen Masood, SP East; Kamran Adil along all SDPOs, DSP Traffic; Jamil Ahmed Hashmi, In-Charge Rescue-15; Mussarat Ali Khan and members of citizen committees.
IGP Islamabad; Shahid Nadeem Baloch, while speaking at the occasion, expressed that the establishment of Dog Centre in the Capital would go a long way in boosting and strengthening the security measures. The bomb disposal squad and cops would use the sniffer dogs to comb and sweep places for security clearance and it would greatly help in beefing up security measures. A rehearsal was also held to assess the performance of sniffer dogs, at the occasion.
The IGP Islamabad; Shahid Nadeem Baloch appreciated efforts and initiatives taken by SSP Islamabad; Syed Kaleem Imam for the launch of the said project. He also appreciated initiation of the annual Police Diary meant for the guidance of the cops and general public. Performance of SP Supreme Court; Muhammad Shoaib Janbaz and In-Charge Rescue-15 Mussarat Ali Khan was also appreciated, at the ceremony.
IGP Baloch further directed In-Charge Rescue-15 to complete all the ongoing projects on time to continue extending services for the welfare of the masses with added devotion and dedication. Addressing the ceremony, SSP Islamabad; Syed Kaleem Imam said that Capital Cops were being strengthened and all available resources were being used to step up security measures, while appreciating the performance of Rescue-15, at large.

ASP bid hearty farewell

PS Sihala held a farewell party in honour of the outgoing ASP; Muhammad Shoiab Janbaz, who has been promoted as SP and posted at Supreme Court, at the police station, here this Tuesday. The party was held both to congratulate him on his promotion as him as bid him farewell from PS Sihala, and it was in fact, this colleagues' way of telling him that he would be missed.
The farewell party was attended by SP East; Kamran Adil, various SDPOs, PS Sihala SHO; Qasim Khan Niazi and PS Koral SHO Muhammad Hussian Lasi, In-Charge Rescue-15; Mussarat Ali Khan, Human Rights Officers, Members of Public Conciliatory Committees and notables of the area. SP Supreme Court Shoib Janbaz has been serving as ASP Sihala, for the past two years. During his tenure, 1594 cases were registered in rural circle out of which 1493 challans were submitted in the court of law after due legal process. As many as 564 cases of illicit weapons and narcotics were registered and huge cache of illicit arms and drugs were also seized during his tenure.
