Farooq Sattar’s father passes away

KARACHI—Various political personalities including Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday condoled with deputy convener MQM Dr Farooq Sattar on the sad demise of his father Abdus Sattar Pirwani. The Prime Minister contacted Dr Sattar to express his profound grief over the demise of his father and prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Husain Ahmed, secretary general PPP Jahangir Badar, deputy speaker Sindh Assembly Shehla Raza, Nafees Siddiqui, leaders of business community and prominent persons from a cross section of the society rang up the residence of Dr Farooq Sattar and expressed heartfelt condolences.
