visit China
BEIJING—Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has been invited to visit
China. “I am carrying with me the invitation extended to Prime Minister
Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani by the Chinese leadership,” Foreign Minister
Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi told the Chinese media here at the
Pakistan China Business Forum Monday.
President Pervez Musharraf was the chief guest at the Forum. The Foreign
Minister said that before the Prime Minister’s visit he would also come
here. He said that transforming the strong people-to-people relations
into close economic bonds between Pakistan and China was among his
priorities. President Musharraf left Monday evening for Urumqi after
successful two-day visit here.—Agencies
