Youngster commits suicide

GILGIT—A 15-year old boy committed suicide by shooting himself with 30 bore pistol in Gilgit here on Sunday, City Police Station officials said. Duty Officer Mohammad Bilal said Asadullah son of Mohammad Asif, who was a class 8th student committed suicide. He said motives behind suicide could not be ascertained and body was handed over to legal heirs for burial. However, he added, a case was registered with City Police Station and investigation got underway. Meanwhile, in an another incident a person was killed in Nomal valley by firearms and Station House Office reached at site and gathered information, he said. No further details were available till filing of this report.
