SSP Islamabad Syed Kalim Imam transferred

ISLAMABAD—Federal Government has transferred SSP Islamabad Syed Kalim
Imam and posted him as Chief Security Officer in the PM Secretariat.
Syed Kalim Imam has a very bright professional career. He joined the
Police Service in 1988 after his initial training. He served in
Balochistan for 10 years from 1988 to 1999 as ASP, Hub, ASP, Quetta, SP,
Naseerabad, SP Sibi and SSP Quetta.
He has been awarded two police Medals including President Police Medal
(PPM) and Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal for his meritious services in
Pakistan Police Service. During his tenure as SSP Islamabad, Syed Kalim
Imam discharged his duties to the best of his abilities with a
commitment to maintain law and order in difficult situation at times and
successfully handled the charged situations in a highly professional
manner.
As SSP Islamabad, Kalim Imam also made ICT Police a professional and
friendly police for the citizens. He also appointed Civilian Human
Rights Officers in all police station in Islamabad. He also maintained
close contact with the general public to solve their problems and sought
their coordination in maintaining peace and order in the city.
He also launched many projects including Sniffer Dog Center, Medical
Facilities for Public and Police Officials, Setting up Libraries and
Gymnasiums in Police Stations to keep the force physically fit. ICT
Police has paid glowing tributes to Syed Kalim Imam for his tremendous
contributions in building up the image of the ICT Police and pulling it
on modern lines.
Meanwhile Syed Kalim Imam has also credit to serve in Mozambique and
Liberia and imparting training to the police of these countries. |
