Bilour Visits NCRD

ISLAMABAD—Federal Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour visited National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD) in Islamabad the other day.
Federal Secretary for Local Government and Rural Development, Mr. Muhammad Saleem Khan and Joint Secretary, M/O Local Government and Rural Development who is also Acting Director General of the NCRD and other senior officials of the Ministry also accompanied the Minister. The Federal Minister, during his visit to the NCRD was taken around the Conference Hall, Computer Lab, Library, Hostels, Residence for participants of the Center.
The Acting Director of the NCRD briefed the Minister about the role, functions, objectives and allocation of annual budget to the Centre. The Director General also informed the Minister that the main objective of the Centre is to impart training to the elected representatives of Local Government.—Online
