Teachers to protest on 24th against injustices

RAWALPINDI—The teachers fraternity have announced to protest on April 24 in government Islamia Higher Secondary School Murree Road against irregularities in the new appointment of women English teachers and transferring to far-flung areas and other related issues.
President Punjab Teachers Union District Rawalpindi Dr. Saghir Alam while addressing a meeting here underlined that the teachers community especially women teachers are facing immense problems during performing their duties. He said that some elements deliberately create obstacles in the implementation on Teachers' incentive package and delay in the preparations of seniority list which badly affecting on teachers to perform their duties satisfactorily.—Online
