Appeal to expand Adiyala road

RAWALPINDI—People living in Chaklala Cantonment have appealed to the relevant authorities to expand road from Askari-7 Adiyala to 502 Chowk as soon as possible. The residents of the area while expressing concern over the situation said that long hours traffic mess at aforementioned road is a common routine, causing delay in their routine works.
The first portion of road linking Askari 7 road to main Adiyala road was expanded with the total cost of Rs. 45 million in tenure of the previous government but its last portion is very narrow and falls under jurisdiction of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board. The people demanded of the newly elected senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar to issue directions for the expansion of road.
