ZTBL starts disbursing loans

ISLAMABAD—Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) on Monday started disbursing loans of Rs.22.5 billion for the production of Kharif crops. The loans titled Kharif Credit are being provided to farmers underone window operation, an official told newsmen. Under One Window Operation (Zarkhaiz Scheme), the production loans will be provided on every Monday and Tuesday throughout the country, except at Mingora in NWFP, Turbat Zone in Balochistan, FATA and FANA. The official said that the loans were being disbursed in collaboration with respective provincial governments, Boards of Revenue, Agri Departments and postal authorities.—Agencies
