Rangers refuse to return to KU

Karachi—The University of Karachi will remain closed on the second consecutive day today (Tuesday) after rangers refused to resume their duties at the campus following an altercation with the office bearers of the Karachi University Teachers Society (KUTS. The altercation began after a university teacher, Dr Riaz Ahmed was beaten up by the rangers personnel at the main gate of the varsity last week. Later, a case was registered against the injured professor on the charge of attacking and injuring a rangers personnel.
