NBF annual exhibition attracts book lovers

ISLAMABAD—The annual book exhibition of National Book Foundation (NBF) has created great charm and attracting a large number of book lovers.
An official of the foundation told that the book exhibition is the annual feature of the foundation as it goes a long way to inspire book reading and book friendship among all age groups.
He said that around 200 to 300 people are visiting book exhibition daily while on the first day of annual book exhibition about 500 book lovers visited the exhibition. The month long book exhibition started on April 01 would continue till May 02 in different cities including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Bannu, Abbotabad, Kohat, D.I.Khan, Wah Cantt, Multan, Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawab Shah, Bahalwalpur, Sukkur, Faisalabad and Karachi, he added. He said that the books on Medicine, Engineering, Law, Science, Literature, Culture, Text books and Imported note books will be available on special discount.
“The exhibition provided us a chance to get books on various subjects under one room and special discount enables us to take facility at affordable rates,” Ahsan, a visitor remarked.
The official told that Braille books for the blind person will be provided free. Gazzate notification and other government publications will also be available in the exhibition.
