Ishaq Dar condoles death of Malik Allahyar


ISLAMABAD—Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs and Statistics has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Malik Allahyar Khan, former MNA and Chairman Public Accounts Committee. In his condolence message, he said that he was deeply grieved over the passing away of Malik Allahyar who had a great respect among his contemporary politicians. He prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
Allahyar Khan worked as member of Pakistan’s first parliament from August 1947 to October 19,54. He was the senior most parliamentarian in the previous National Assembly and had been elected from NA-58 Attock-II in the 2002 Elections from the platform of PML-Q. He was appointed chairman of Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly.—Agencies
